The server’s score is called first. In a tie-break the points are called as numbers: 0, 1, 2, 3.

Serving order for this match

Serving

  • The server stands behind the service line, bounces the ball and hits it at or below waist height.
  • The first point of a game is served from the right; the side alternates every point.
  • The serve goes diagonally into the opposite box. Two tries.
  • One player serves a whole game. Serving passes to the other pair, then to the partner, in the order set before the set.

Tie-break serving and ends

  • The first server serves one point from the right. The opponents then serve two points, starting from the left. After that each player serves two points in a row.
  • Change ends after games 1, 3, 5 and every odd game of a set.
  • In a tie-break, change ends after every 6 points.
  • If a set ends on an odd number of games, change ends before the next set.
