      How the table is ranked

Every result updates the table at once. Teams are ordered by:

      1. Points. A win is worth 3 points (or 2, your choice), a draw 1, a loss 0.
      2. Set difference. Sets won minus sets lost.
      3. Game difference. Games won minus games lost.
      4. Head-to-head. Among only the teams still level, the results between them decide: points, then sets, then games.
      5. Games won. If it is still level, teams share the place and are listed A to Z.

      Club conventions, not FIP rules

Agree the tie-break order with the group before round one so nobody is surprised on the last night.

      Fixtures that fit

The fixture list is a round-robin: every pair or player meets every other once, or twice with home and away legs. With an odd number of teams, one team has a bye each round.

      Level on everything?

If two pairs finish on the same points, set difference and game difference, the pair that won the match between them goes ahead and the table marks it H2H.

      League tracker questions

How are padel league standings decided?
Teams are ordered by points, then set difference, then game difference. If teams are still level, the results between only those teams decide (head-to-head), then total games won. Teams level on everything share a place.
How many pairs or players can I add?
Up to 16. That gives 120 matches in a single round-robin, which is plenty for one club league.
      Is my league saved?
Yes. It saves on this device as you type and is there when you come back. Clearing the browser's site data removes it, so copy the share link if you want a second copy.
How does the share link work?
The link contains the names, settings and results. Anyone who opens it sees a copy of the league. Changes they make stay on their device and do not change yours.
Can pairs play each other twice?
Yes. Set every team to play each other twice and the fixture list adds a second leg with the sides reversed.
What if a match ends level?
A match that finishes 1-1 in sets counts as a draw and is worth 1 point to each side. A win is worth 3 points, or 2 if you change the setting.
Can I print the table and the fixtures?
Yes. Print standings gives the table and results on one A4 page. Print fixtures gives every round with a blank score line for matches still to play.

Take the rules to court too.
